Central Persian Rug

Central Persian Rug

Looks like it may have been woven in the town of Qum, Central Persia, famed for its fine rugs with classical designs, but in fact it has a quirkiness and charm which I normally associate with village weaving. The wool is excellent, and it have survived in excellent condition.
