Probably of Scandinavian origin, this stylish mid-century kilim is an exceptional piece. Woven to a high standard with fine quality wool and complex interlocking techniques, it has great graphic appeal. The design of stripes some of which are offset, is broken up an ivory central panel. The limited colour palette of black ivory and a grey-blue is both smart and stylish. One can imagine this piece working in any number of contemporary decorative settings. In very good condition. Professionally cleaned with no stains.
