Very elegantly drawn on an ivory field within a mihrab. Velvety wool, a fine weave and exquisite colouring. Ends rewoven, otherwise in very good condition. This piece has been hanging for many years, hence the good state of preservation. 19th century Persian village weaving at its charming best.
