Short and Narrow Sarab Runner
This Sarab runner from North-West Persia is both pretty and woven in a very useful size, ideal for all sorts of decorative spaces particularly corridors and hallways. Woven on an all wool foundation with soft wool to the pile and lovely natural dyes, it feels like a piece woven in the transition period between tribal weavings made for domestic use, and the later products made for commercial purposes in North-West Persia in the last quarter of the 19th century. In generally good condition and professionally cleaned in our own workshop.
