Striking Sarab Runner
This handsome runner is very beautiful designed with fine camel wool and wonderful dyes. I would date it to around 1870. Note the ton-sur-ton field and the medallions which appear to be floating above the field. Although it is in generally good pile, unfortunately it has lost the borders at each end. It is still nevertheless a very decorative and impressive runner which would light up many settings.
