Fine Meshed Rug

As well as having their own design repertoire, antique Meshed rugs from the 19th century and early 20th century have a unique blend of colours which identifies them. This rug has those many of those characteristics. The wool is very fine and silky while the purple background is very typical of Meshed rugs. The design is elegant but restrained.
