This lovely Belouchi Balisht is part of a collection of early 20th century Belouchi weavings I recently acquired. It has very soft velvety wool and a funky repeat boteh design on a caramel background. Sparingly used, it has retained most of its original tassels as well as the woven back and the embroidered opening. Excellent pile and clean. This is a charming tribal weaving which can be used in any number of ways to enhance your decorative settings
