This super-cool carpet is one of a pair of carpets I recently acquired. They both have the technique of vintage rag rugs, namely they are woven with strips of disused material. But whereas most rag rugs are made with either cotton or wool, this piece is made of leather scraps! This gives it a very unusual texture. Add to that the minimalist design, and one has a really striking and rare carpet with highly decorative look. Ideal for modern settings.
