Woven with fine wool on a cotton foundation and with good natural dyes, this rug has a solid, hardwearing structure The floral design with an array of sprigs, palmettes and flowering urns is very easy on the eye. The rug has a nice harmonious palette dominated by a soft read field and sapphire blue main border. Other colours include a pale blue and pale yellow.
