Long Sarab Runner
This is a very striking Sarab runner from North-West Persia in a long format. It has absolutely delicious natural dyes with soft grainy wool. The camel brown is undyed wool. The geometric medallions and little ton sur ton diamonds in the field are very elegant and are complemented by the charming colours of the flowers inside the medallions. This is all framed by narrow borders. One could imagine this handsome piece lighting up many corridors, landings, hallways and other decorative settings. Thin and fine with just the right of wear commensurate with its age. We have professionally cleaned it and made some minor restorations to the sides and ends. It is in very good and usable condition.
